I’m Aaron, and I’ve been building things since I was a kid.
My first job was in 5th grade, working for Bhat Caterers. a Mangalore-based vegetarian catering company. during my summer holidays. I didn’t know it then, but the habit of doing real work early would stick with me.
At 14, I began building websites.because I genuinely enjoyed making things on the internet. My early clients were local marble traders and transporters in Mangalore. Simple sites for 5000INR.
At 15, while most people were worried about school, I joined Colaco & Aranha - a stockbroking firm founded in 1985, serving clients globally. I had the rare chance to learn investing from Gerard Colaco, someone who has managed money ethically longer than I’ve been alive. We’d talk life, work, and markets over breakfast. Soon, I co-founded Simplus Learning with Deepak K Rao and Gerard Colaco, and helped build all the tech behind Deepak’s wealth management practice - alongside an exceptional dev team. Around the same time, I became the youngest person to clear all 12 NISM certifications (SEBI’s regulatory exams) in under two months - all before turning 17. But honestly, I don’t care much about titles. I just loved what i was doing.
I’m also proud to be an Emergent Ventures Fellow, backed by the team at Mercatus Center, George Mason University. for building bold, ethical systems in finance that actually help people.
